About The Position

Held over an 11-week period during the summer of 2026 for undergrad students graduating between December 2026 and August 2027. The paid internship will prepare associates for a career with Walmart's Food Manufacturing Division. Work on a meaningful project, network with industry experts, and develop your skills while having an epic summer! As a member of our Manufacturing Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of Walmart's rapidly expanding Food Manufacturing Division! Our journey into manufacturing began in the 90s with our own optical lens production, and we have since established three state-of-the-art optical labs. In recent years, we have expanded our operations to include a dairy processing plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2018, and a beef packaging facility in Thomasville, GA and Olathe, KS in 2019 and 2015 respectively. Excitingly, we are furthering our operations with the addition of 2 new dairy plants located in Valdosta, GA and Robinson, TX. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor's degree program currently.
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026-August 2027.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to a Walmart Food Manufacturing facility after graduation.

Nice To Haves

  • Majors in Food Science, Agriculture Operations, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics, or other relevant majors.
