About The Position

The 2026 Summer Intern - Statistics Group - Sophomore position at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York offers undergraduate sophomores the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities. Interns will support critical data capabilities in the Statistics Function, managing data ingestion and quality assurance for financial and organizational data.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest in finance, data science, accounting, economics, capital markets, business, or operational management.
  • Strong academic record and passion for data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Tableau, PowerBuilder, Python, and R.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supports critical financial/organizational structure data capture, quality assurance, and analysis for data collections.
  • Conducts data analysis and visualization to support client outputs.
