About The Position

The 2026 Summer Intern - Risk Group - Sophomore position at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York offers undergraduate sophomores the opportunity to gain valuable work experience through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities. Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a sophomore in an undergraduate program.
• Ability to develop data solutions and professional presentations.
• Some knowledge and quantitative interest in risk management principles.
• Ability to analyze business activities and develop suggestions for improvement.
• Willingness to learn new skills and collaborate with others.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the execution of risk management activities.
• Collect and analyze data to measure, monitor, and evaluate risk management practices.
• Collaborate with risk management professionals to analyze controls and dependencies.
• Support program management and business analysis-related risk management activities.
• Generate reports and prepare analytic documents to drive effective risk management practices.
• Update program status reports and communications across FRBNY and FRS.
