About The Position

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to support the design and development of orthopedic implants and instruments.
  • Contribute to projects at various stages of development, gaining experience in brainstorming, prototyping, and evaluating designs.
  • Gain exposure to design history files, verification and validation activities.
  • Observe live surgeries or cadaveric evaluations.
