About The Position

The 2026 Summer Intern - Product Technical Development - Laboratory (Wet-Lab or Dry-Lab) Focus is a full-time, 12-week paid internship located in South San Francisco. Interns will work on challenging and impactful business-critical projects within the Pharmaceutical Technical Development (PTDU) department, which is recognized for developing large-scale manufacturing processes and effective drug delivery systems. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside talented professionals in the biotechnology industry and present their project work to senior leaders. The program offers a $2500 OSA stipend and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with start dates in May and June 2026.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree (having completed at least 2 years of the degree program) or have attained a bachelor's degree within 2 years of application date.
• Relevant work experience in research labs or the biotechnology industry is desirable but not required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze wet-lab or dry-lab based experiments.
• Work on projects in areas such as Cell Culture and Fermentation Development, Purification Development, Protein Analytical Chemistry, and more.
• Collaborate with scientists to support development activities for producing therapeutics.
• Participate in final presentations of project work to senior leaders.
