About The Position

The 2026 Summer Intern - Product Technical Development - Digital Sciences Focus is a full-time, 12-week paid internship located in South San Francisco. The intern will work on impactful business-critical projects within the Pharmaceutical Technical Development (PTDU) department, which is recognized for its leadership in developing large-scale manufacturing processes and innovative drug delivery systems. Interns will leverage programming, machine learning, and AI skills to contribute to digital projects that enhance insights from data and accelerate drug development. The internship includes ownership of challenging projects, collaboration with talented professionals, and final presentations to senior leaders.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years completed or have attained a bachelor's degree within 2 years of application.
• Relevant work experience with coding/computer science (e.g., Python, R, Flask, Django, React) is desirable but not required.
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week for the duration of the 12-week internship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-silico simulations and protein stability studies.
