As the 2026 Summer Intern – Manufacturing, Science & Technology (MTS), you will support the Manufacturing, Technology, and Science (MTS) department. The MTS department is responsible for the technology transfer of products to the FPG manufacturing site, manufacturing process improvement projects, and supporting all FPG groups as it relates to product manufacturing information for deviations, CAPAs, and change controls. The internship objective is to support MTS activities including routine data collection, small project executions, and supporting individual tasks for major technology transfer projects. The intern will collect data, write protocols and reports, and provide technical knowledge to manufacturing teams. Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree (rising junior or rising senior) in chemical/biochemical engineering with some background in process development/research.
  • Working knowledge of basic statistics.
  • Must be available to work onsite at the Parsippany, NJ office 5 days per week
  • Ability to complete the entire 10-week program (from May 26, 2026 to July 31, 2026) and commit to 37.5 hours per week
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; college transcript required

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited U.S. based college or university
  • Enrolled in either an undergraduate (Bachelor’s), graduate, MBA, JD, PharmD, or PhD program
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without a need for sponsorship/CPT/OPT now or in the future
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date
  • Must be available to complete virtual interviews with HR and hiring manager
  • Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check prior to start date
  • Must complete a final presentation at the end of the 10-week program (mandatory)

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with fill/finish and aseptic processing is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Collect routine data from manufacturing batches, data for protocol execution, and write protocols/reports that are project dependent.
  • Own a project that can be completed in the timeframe that supports a manufacturing process improvement or enhanced understanding of a manufacturing process (projects TBD and will be based on business needs at the time of the internship).

  • Undergraduate: $25 per hour. Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program OR graduated within 1 year of receiving Bachelor’s degree and not currently enrolled in a Graduate program
  • Graduate: $27 per hour. Must be currently enrolled in Master’s, MBA, or PharmD (1-3 years) degree program
  • PhD: $30 per hour. Must be currently enrolled in JD, PharmD (4 years+), or PhD degree program
  • You will be eligible for any company-paid holidays that occur during that range. During the internship, you will accrue sick time.
