About The Position

To lead the simplification of the QA oversight process. The role will evaluate and identify key fields from existing QA interventions that should be the focus by QA oversight, instead of evaluating the whole process. The role will involve leveraging inputs such as improvement of the QA Oversight process and streamline the QA intervention process. Program dates: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026. The hourly compensation for this assignment is $15/hr. Please note that the final individual compensation and any applicable benefits will be determined by your employer of record (and not BMS). Factors influencing this decision may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location of the job. Compensation details are subject to change. This is a temporary, time-bound position intended for the duration of the internship or co-op program. Employment in this role does not imply or guarantee ongoing or permanent employment with BMS.

Requirements

  • Applicants must attend an accredited university in Puerto Rico or reside in Puerto Rico.
  • At least Third Year student of a B.S./ B.A , ideally in Science, Computer Science, Engineering, industrial Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Seniors graduating in Spring or Summer 2026 are eligible to apply only if they will be continuing their education for the following semester (Fall 2026).
  • Knowledgeable about Excel and basic Project Management tools
  • Presentations skills
  • Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Establish the guidelines to select the instructions that will become the QA oversight process
  • Coordinate meetings with experienced QAs and Compliance, Validation and operation process personnel from the areas to select the instructions of the process
  • Develop a comprehensive Project Management Plan to ensure the successful achievement of project objectives
  • Document the required form with the justification of the instructions that will be removed from QA oversight process
  • Prepare and deliver presentation materials to effectively communicate project progress and outcomes to Management
