About The Position

In this role, you will be asked to support team objectives by deploying machine learning models and algorithms using cloud compute resources and applying advanced data analytics to tackle complex problems for the Map Enhancements team . Areas of focus may include developing algorithms, writing software scripts, or performing analytics using vehicle data.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Able to work fulltime , 40 hours per week.
• Python software skills and experience with ML libraries such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Demonstratable fundamentals in statistical modeling and machine learning frameworks and tools

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and high-performance compute systems
• Experience with geospatial data and analytics
• Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship.
• Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy models and algorithms using Databricks
• Develop scripts to manage data workflows using Python or PySpark
• Analyze large datasets to discover trends and patterns
• Present complex information using data visualization techniques
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Complete training, learning, and skills development
