The 2026 Summer Internship in U.S. Global Wealth Management, Growth Markets is located in New York, NY, and aims to create industry-leading experiences for financial intermediaries and their individual investor clients. The Global Wealth Management (GWM) team is responsible for business strategy and client coverage for the intermediated individual investor segment of the market.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Must be able to begin full-time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2027 – August 2027.
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 – December 2026).
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Business proficiency in English.

  • Interest in a client-facing career within Finance.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Finance/capital markets coursework (recommended, not required).

Responsibilities

  • Support the Growth Markets Group in key strategic initiatives.
  • Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training during the first week of the internship.
  • Engage in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering.
  • Attend cross-divisional education, networking, and social events.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from supervisors and senior leaders.
  • Complete mid- and end-of-summer feedback reviews.
