Work Arrangement: Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, MI, three times per week, at minimum. Each successful candidate will be offered a hybrid role at a specific location. Candidate location preferences are considered but cannot be guaranteed. Requirements

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer months.

Responsibilities

  • Internship assignments in Operations Finance are designed to be robust and deliver meaningful business impact.
  • Learn about GM's core business of designing, building, selling, and servicing vehicles.
  • Potential assignments include Sales and Marketing, Product Development, Purchasing & Supply Chain, Customer Care & Aftersales, Financial Planning & Analysis, Manufacturing, and Digital Business.
  • Participate in networking and social events with peers and Finance executive leadership.
  • Engage in experiential learning activities such as a tour of manufacturing facility and compete in a case competition.
