The 2026 Summer Internship for Finance & Accounting Analyst positions is located at PIMCO’s Newport Beach, CA Headquarters. Interns will gain exposure to financial drivers of the firm, financial operations, accounting, and strategic decision-making, while working on projects in areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Client Billing.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Must be able to begin full-time employment from a PIMCO office between January 2027 – August 2027.
  • Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2026 semester (August 2026 – December 2026).
  • Have a minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • Business proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training during the first week of the internship.
  • Engage in projects within Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and Client Billing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering.
  • Network through various cross-divisional education and social events.
  • Receive mentorship and guidance from supervisors and senior leaders throughout the internship.
  • Complete mid- and end-of-summer formal reviews to assess progress towards goals.
