As an intern, you will: Apply classroom knowledge and gain experience in a fast-paced and growing industry setting, implement new ideas, be constantly challenged, and develop your skills, network with key/high-level stakeholders and leaders of the business, be a part of an innovative team and culture, and experience documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear format.

  • Bridge the gap between different engineering disciplines, working on automated equipment, robots, and smart devices.
  • Design control systems, integrate components, and ensure seamless functionality across various engineering domains in Medical engineering.
  • Work on SW automation using tools such as Python or C# to automate use cases in typical Integrated Operating Room.
  • Join Stryker Endoscopy’s Test team to experiment with early prototypes and vet out product designs throughout the design process.
  • Design and build fixtures to simulate real-life situations for experimentation.
  • Conduct design verification for a subset of the product, creating initial test plans through test reports for regulatory submissions.
  • Share and coordinate samples, test execution, test results, and timelines with a cross-functional project team.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field; must remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the internship.
  • Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • Test engineering experience in a regulated industry.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships quickly.
  • Familiarity with common electrical test methods and equipment.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Automation experience: preferably LabView, Python, and/or Arduino.
  • Pay rate will not be below any applicable local minimum wage rates.
