About The Position

We are the AI Enablement team within the Computational Sciences Center of Excellence. We develop various AI tools that empower our scientists and accelerate drug discovery. We work with LLMs, Agents, foundational models, embeddings and large volumes of scientific data. This internship position is located in South San-Francisco or it can be fully remote. The Opportunity Build large scale training repository for foundational models Extend the DINO/CLIP training to use multimodal data Write evaluation scripts on various internal benchmark datasets Present and publish your work to at ML Conferences Program Highlights Intensive 12-weeks, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in May/June (Summer) A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects. Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
Must have attained a Master's Degree.
Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student).
Must have attained a PhD.
Computer Science
Python programming with familiarity of PyTorch and Transformers library.
Understanding of Machine Learning and basics of Deep Learning
Model training, fine-tuning (LoRA), and hyper-parameter tunning
