About The Position

This is a full-time, 10-week internship program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice. The internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026. In addition to the role-based projects you'll work on, you'll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor. As a Spectrum intern, you'll spend the summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor's degree.
  • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program.
  • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a critical partner to the operations and strategy and CPS leadership team, providing actionable insights, data-driven recommendations, and project support that advance CPS strategic priorities.
  • Analyze CPS operational data to identify trends, risks, and performance opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards, KPI reports, and leadership presentations.
  • Synthesize complex data into actionable recommendations aligned to CPS business objectives.
  • Support strategic planning cycles with data and insights.
  • Gather requirements from various stakeholders, and prioritize tasks based on operational needs.
  • Build and maintain project plans and milestone tracking for strategic initiatives.
  • Identify cross-functional dependencies and proactively resolve blockers.
  • Conduct assessments of existing workflows to recommend process enhancements.
  • Create tools/templates to streamline CPS operations.
  • Standardize data collection and reporting processes across regions.
  • Develop an understanding of physical security risks (internal and external).
  • Support risk assessments by analyzing trends, gaps, and emerging threats.
  • Provide direct support to the SVP, VPs, and Regional Leadership as needed.
  • Assist with preparation of leadership decks, executive briefings, and communications.
  • Translate leadership vision into clear communications for internal/external partners.
