About The Position

The AV Systems, Sensing and Integration Team is responsible for developing, integrating, and validating cutting-edge assisted and automated driving capabilities and sensors across the entire vehicle lifecycle. Our organization delivers Hardware sensors and software from requirements , d esign, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. We combine deep expertise in sensor hardware, perception , software , features, and vehicle systems engineering to ensure safe, reliable, and customer-delighting driving experiences.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in hardware, ADAS Sensors, Computer vision, system design, s imulation, embedded systems, or related areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate findings clearly.
  • Hands-on mindset: you enjoy building, testing, debugging, and learning through doing.
  • Comfortable working in a team and able to manage multiple tasks towards a deliverable.
  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, System Design, Mechanical, Chemical or equivalent)
  • Must be graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Coursework or project experience in Python or Matlab or embedded microcontrollers.
  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of automotive control systems, ADAS features, sensors, or electronics.
  • Familiarity with model-based design tools (MATLAB/Simulink) and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python
  • Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Develops engineering designs (including subsystems) and implements engineering changes
  • Develops requirements & subsystem technical specifications as
  • Execute sensor-level tests on prototype vehicles.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, and integration teams to ensure performance meets specifications.
  • Perform bench and lab testing, debug hardware issues, and document results in collaboration.
  • Support integration, calibration, and environmental operating domain evaluation for cameras, radars and lidars.
