The Position 2026 Summer Intern - Assay Transfer We advance science so that we all have more time with the people we love. Department Summary Assay Transfer’s mission is to ensure the successful transition of newly developed diagnostic assays and reagent products from the R&D laboratory into production within the manufacturing facility. The process of design transfer ensures that products are manufacturable at scale while maintaining the performance established during development. This internship position is located in Tucson, Arizona, On-Site The Opportunity Learn and catalog the history of Assay Transfer using artificial intelligence tools. Support the pilot reagent manufacturing process Maintain metrics for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Program Highlights Intensive 12-weeks full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship. Program start dates are in May/June (Summer) A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. Requirements

  • You meet one of the following criteria: - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student). - Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program). - Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).
  • Science or Mathematics major preferred but not required
  • Basic experience with spreadsheet software such as Google Sheets or Excel. This includes the ability to sort and maintain data sets and basic use of formulas.
  • Creation of presentations using Google Slides or Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Windows platform
