About The Position

REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a 2026 Summer Engineering Intern - Undergraduate in Winston Salem, NC or Clarksville, TN. Your key responsibilities will include supporting key projects that assist in driving business and financial results within a functional area of Operations. Examples of potential project areas include new category product introductions, optimization of existing manufacturing processes, factory footprint scenarios, facilities infrastructure obsolescence, and health and safety compliance. You will conduct research, data analysis, and interact with stakeholders to support your assigned projects, delivering creative and innovative solutions. Collaboration with teams across the Operations function as well as opportunities to collaborate cross-functionally throughout the business is also expected.

Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree with completed coursework in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • An action-oriented and innovative leader with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be willing to work in Winston Salem, NC or Clarksville, TN.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
