Department Overview The Independent Business Consulting team is committed to delivering first-class, end-to-end business lifecycle support to business owners in our Independent Contractor Division. Key areas of focus include business structure and planning, scaling, and general business operations. Job Summary The summer associate will partner with the team and internal stakeholders to drive innovation through participation in multiple initiatives and projects. Additionally, this role will give the opportunity to shadow real business consultations, assist in follow-ups, and perform business analysis tasks. A summer associate can expect to learn the fundamentals of business planning, project management, and data analysis. The summer associate position is a temporary role. Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.

  • Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).

Responsibilities

  • Support the RJFS Divisional Management teams to deliver value-added business consulting services to new and existing business owners.
  • Conduct ad hoc financial analysis projects and prepare reports as needed.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage business unit pipeline data entry.
  • Shadow consulting calls and assist in client follow ups.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
