We are frequently recognized as one of the leading trademark firms in the country. Our attorneys represent clients around the world in trademark-related matters, including litigation, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office proceedings, trademark policing, clearance, prosecution, counseling, portfolio management, domain name disputes, social media and other online branding issues, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. We have guided a wide range of extraordinary clients through dynamic shifts in technology and the world economy that have profoundly affected strategies for protecting and enforcing brands and content. We represent clients from a variety of industries, and our attorneys are well-versed in both transactional and litigation matters. We are seeking a 1L Summer Associate to join our 6-week program in the second half of summer in Austin, TX. Summer Associates are expected to work in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Requirements
- Class of 2028 J.D. Student
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to the highest quality of client service
- This position is not available to any candidates who will now or in the future require a U.S. visa from the firm, such as the H-1B, TN-1, TN-2, or E-3 visa.
Nice To Haves
- Law journal experience and GPA in the top quarter of class are strongly preferred.
- A science background is not required.
