Program Description: PJT Partners is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven and dynamic individual to join our Technology Summer Internship Program. The Technology intern will help solve interesting technical problems across PJT Technologies core teams: Data & Applications, Information Security, Infrastructure & Networking and Technology Operations. They will participate in all aspect of the project lifecycle from engaging with stakeholders on requirements, designing solutions, to implementation and support of our products and systems. The position will provide the opportunity to gain an awareness of the systems, projects and technologies of a fast-paced corporate technology team.

Requirements

• PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have excellent academic, leadership and extracurricular experiences. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience with at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++, etc
• Excel experience with knowledge and implementation of macros is a plus
• Excellent analytical, project and time management skills
• Ability to structure and present ideas and information to peers and team leads
• Experience in finance is a plus

• Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

• Expected annualized base salary of $75,000

Responsibilities

• Work across the core team in technical workflows related to application development, cloud and network security, process automation, project management, cloud engineering and data analytics
• Perform and document analysis, process implementation and product support
• Work closely with product leads, systems architects, data stewards and developers on production projects
• Communicate with key stakeholders on cross-functional teams to help drive processes
• Develop subject matter expertise on key elements of diverse project workstreams
• Provide hands-on assistance in creating, maintaining, and implementing enterprise data solutions
• Go-live support, investigation and diagnosing issues
