About The Position
PJT Partners is a global advisory-focused investment bank that provides a wide array of strategic advisory services, including shareholder advisory, restructuring, and special situations, as well as private fund advisory and placement services. The Restructuring and Special Situations Group (RSSG) advises large and middle market companies, creditor groups, private equity sponsors, and boards of directors in financially distressed situations, both in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court liability management. The group has been involved in many high-profile reorganizations and complex liability management transactions, providing strategic advisory services such as recapitalizations, reorganizations, and distressed mergers and acquisitions. Summer Analysts in RSSG will develop a diverse corporate finance skillset and be integral to all aspects of deals, including client meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions.
