As a Summer Analyst in the Institutional Client Group at Apollo Global Management, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of alternative asset management distribution. This internship is designed for individuals eager to learn about the various areas of the alternative asset management business, develop sales and client relationship skills, and contribute to Apollo’s growth and success within a collaborative global team environment.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BA or BS (Class of 2027) in finance, business, economics, or a related filed, from an undergraduate institution with a record of academic achievement.
  • Strong interest in the financial industry, particularly alternative asset management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and convey complex financial concepts.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong work ethic.
  • Exercising integrity, sound judgment, and professionalism in all responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting sales and product teams by preparing presentations, pitch materials, ad-hoc requests, and bespoke projects focused on strategy and sales.
  • Assisting with client communications, ensuring timely follow-up, and coordinating with Marketing and Communications to distribute thought leadership materials.
  • Customizing marketing content and talking points for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
  • Coordinating group investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Compiling market data and incorporating research into investor presentations and marketing materials.
  • Writing and reviewing meeting memos, and assisting with preparation for client meetings and pitches.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records for potential fund launches and investor relationships (Salesforce).
  • Generating reports and analyzing sales data to track progress, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing investment acumen by building knowledge of Apollo’s positioning, holdings, competitive strengths, and results across the capital structure.
  • Working collaboratively across Apollo teams, contributing to firm-wide goals and fostering a team-oriented culture.
  • Gaining exposure to strategic thinking processes and learning to communicate complex financial concepts simply and effectively.
