About The Position

We are hiring a Studio Express Engineering Intern whom will work hand in hand with engineers to bring customers custom furniture requests to life from drawing board to customer site while working on day to day order processing and engineering projects. Team members utilize Creo, Windchill, Sketchup among other software to process day to day orders creating 3D models, Drawings, and Bill of Materials to support the order fulfillment process. This is coupled with hands on projects focused on continuous improvement while providing a hands on experience with our manufacturing facilities and test lab. We hope to create and grow our interns skillsets that will benefit their future engineering careers.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at a nationally accredited program
• Actively enrolled in a degree seeking program at the time of application and throughout the duration of the internship or co-op position
• Exposure to CAD/3D modeling software
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice To Haves

• Preferred majors for this position: Mechanical, Product Design, Industrial Engineering, or related
• Preferred academic standing for this position: 2027 & 2028 Graduates
• Basic proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Strong technical documentation and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable transportation, many of our sites do not have public transportation available
• Leadership experience inside and/or outside the classroom
• Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in software industry standards and development tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly
• Demonstrated creative problem solving, proactive learning, and curiosity
