About The Position

The Galaxy NYC Summer Internship Program is an immersive and exciting, nine-week experience taking place on-site in our New York HQ office. During the nine weeks, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical work experience on our Strategic Opportunities team. In addition to learning on the job, Galaxy interns participate in professional development programming, fun social events, and networking opportunities with senior leaders. Program Dates: June 8th – August 7th, 2026

Requirements

General knowledge of the cryptocurrency ecosystem
Critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset
Strong emotional intelligence and a comfort level communicating with others
Ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently
Proactive and entrepreneurial spirit
Undergraduate or master’s students graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
Eligible master’s students must have fewer than two years of relevant, full-time work experience
Students enrolled in PhD, MBA, or JD programs are not eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

Become one of Galaxy’s technical experts on blockchain infrastructure and assist in managing a proprietary trading book driven by blockchain infrastructure activities
Build ecosystem relationships across all digital asset counterparties, including L1, L2, and MEV communities, custodians, financial institutions, Foundations, DeFi protocols, infrastructure providers and more
Support the development of a blockchain infrastructure-focused operating business with a full suite of products, with a focus on expanding, enhancing, and improving processes
Learn about financial products associated with blockchain infrastructure services and assist in tactical Galaxy-wide “special situations” (across derivatives, credit, asset management, etc.)
Support deal flow end-to-end including sourcing, modeling, structuring, validation, risk assessment, and strategy execution
Participate in the overall business development of the company by cross selling Galaxy's services to various cryptocurrency projects, supporting Galaxy’s holistic approach to partnerships
