What You Can Expect Join a dynamic team where you'll provide essential engineering services supporting either cellular manufacturing or logistical operations. This co-op is a hands-on opportunity to gain meaningful experience while delivering impactful results. How You'll Create Impact Your primary responsibility will be to support the deployment of Wonderware SCADA within a manufacturing cell. This includes: Converting existing documentation Executing equipment validations Collaborating with IT and Operations to revise procedures Creating new reference materials to train Operations personnel Additional responsibilities include participating as part of the Cellular Operations team: Supporting investigations and resolutions for non-conformances Developing and executing equipment and process validations Managing prototype order manufacturing for future validations Leading at least one cost-reduction project within the manufacturing cell Applying Six Sigma principles and using statistical methods via Minitab What Makes You Stand Out

Requirements

  • Actively enrolled in an academic program for the full duration of the assignment
  • Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the co-op term
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
  • Sophomore status or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or other related engineering science
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge or formal education in drafting standards and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Proven ability to take ownership of complex, high-scope projects
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Experience or coursework in Statistical Process Control; modeling software experience is a plus
