About The Position

Transcard offers an internship program in the FinTech industry. Our program is designed to provide you with meaningful projects utilized by the business. You’ll see the direct impact of your contribution and get an inside perspective of your desired field while working alongside some of the best in our industry. We continually strive to identify qualified individuals for post-graduate opportunities beyond the internship program. This intern position will operate Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position is a paid internship, compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant. Our goal is to allow you to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities within the Operations department while working toward your professional goals as related to your academic coursework.

Requirements

• Basic understanding and exposure to Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, Microservices, API’s, data pipelining.
• Basic understanding and technical knowledge of Software Engineering.
• Ability to work remotely and independently from direct supervisor as needed.
• Must have great time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Completed or currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology degree.
• Preferred Computer Science, Software Development.

Responsibilities

• Start with a one-on-one meeting with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or designated personnel to discuss professional goals.
• Supervised by the Software Development team to provide routine feedback and status updates.
• Participate in an exit interview with the Software Development Lead and Human Resources for continual improvement of the program.
• Exposure to mobile app and website design.
• Participate in scrum and design meetings for IT projects.
• Interact with sales and marketing to review design and workflows of processes.
