About The Position

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work with a team of talented and experienced engineers in performing many core activities to include design, development or test at the system, subsystem, and component level. Working in a Depot environment with Automated Test Equipment design, development, fabrication and test; with Electronic and Mechanical engineering/design/fabrication. The selected candidates will apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to solve customer needs by providing customized engineering services and products for unique customer missions. This position is an onsite role in Chesapeake, VA.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Specific majors: Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline.
• Knowledge of data analysis, modeling and simulation, statistics, and various computational techniques for complex multi-variable problems.
• Knowledge of STK, MATLAB, or Python.
