MetLife's Investments Summer Analyst Program offers broad exposure to a global insurance company and investments manager. The program is a 10-week hybrid experience. Summer analysts will develop various technical and soft skills, have the opportunity to network with professionals across the company, and fully immerse themselves in MetLife's culture. The Public Fixed Income team blends expertise and reliability, crafting strategies spanning the risk spectrum, from Enhanced Cash to High Yield, and the term structure, from short-term to long duration. Our bottom-up fundamental approach thrives on collaboration, where portfolio managers, analysts, and traders uncover opportunities in evolving markets. Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026 to June 2028.
  • Must possess a demonstrated interest in finance/economics.
  • A strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and be able to adapt to new challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, remaining detail-oriented and client-focused.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • All applicants for this program must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration sponsorship, now or at any point in the future.
