Trane Technologies' early career student program internships provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our 12-week summer internship opportunity offers candidates working toward their Bachelor's in selected disciplines exposure to variety assignments which could include: Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Sourcing/Procurement Cycle, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning and Productivity Generation & Tracking. At Trane Technologies, we value our people and their development. Through our student programs, participants will have an opportunity to interview for our full-time, post-graduate Accelerated Development Program for Operations or direct hire opportunities.

  • Participate in challenging assignments during the internship.
  • Receive leadership training and exposure to senior leaders.
  • Network with professionals within the company.
  • Work on assignments related to Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Sourcing/Procurement Cycle, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning, and Productivity Generation & Tracking.
  • Pursuing a BS/BA in an Engineering Degree, Business with Supply Chain Emphasis, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0.
  • At least one internship or work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills through campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects.
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Proficient in problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to define and identify underlying causes of complex operational issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically evaluate alternative options and make informed decisions.
  • Willingness to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States.
  • Base Pay Range: $20.50 - $28.00.
  • Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan.
