The Operations Division at Morgan Stanley is the front line of defense for the Firm's financial and operational well-being and works closely with almost all departments in order to safeguard the Firm's reputation and franchise. Operations partners with Sales & Trading, Finance, Legal, and Technology to execute the Firm's institutional, retail, and asset management businesses - via supporting and settling daily transactions, devising and implementing effective controls, developing strong client relationships, and engaging with its business partners to enable development of new structures, businesses, and markets. The program offers opportunities to join in January or July of each year depending on your graduation date, providing an entry-level opportunity to learn about the Financial Services Industry and develop necessary professional competencies to be successful within Operations. The Full-Time Analyst Training Program includes a Firm orientation, followed by financial, technical, and professional skills training, along with opportunities to develop your professional network through seminars with senior management, social and networking events, and mentorship.

  • Collaborate across the various Ops teams to evaluate and reengineer processes to drive greater operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business units and technology to deliver exceptional service to our clients in the areas of trade capture, clearance and settlement, account opening, cash management, billing, tax reporting and fraud monitoring.
  • Partner with Technology to design, manage and implement business process changes to streamline processes, improve productivity and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Effectively identify and mitigate operational risk while ensuring continued compliance with global regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective client relationships in order to deliver world class operational services.
  • Upon completion of training, analysts will be assigned to a team within Operations in accordance with business needs.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree and graduating between December 2025 and June 2026.

  • Team player who can work in a collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail, exercise sound judgment and can handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Expected base pay rates for the role will be $55,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
  • Total compensation package may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
