Join us and leave a lasting impact. The Role: The Investments Analyst role is in the Global Credit and Equity (GCE) team within MII. GCE is responsible for developing investment strategies, overseeing the GA portfolio from a fundamental credit and equity perspective, and ensuring portfolios are positioned and managed in the best interest of the GA. GCE also independently monitors and identifies areas of concern as well as opportunity and advises on macro allocation. GCE works with MIM to help MetLife meet its insurance business objectives. The Investments Analyst will work alongside GCE's heads of corporate credit, real estate, and structured finance helping oversee various asset sectors including public and private credit, commercial mortgage loans, agricultural loans, real estate equity, structured finance, residential mortgage loans, and alternative investments. They will conduct and communicate analytical work that will support the identification of fundamental risks and opportunities in the general account portfolio and participate in discussions about portfolio positioning.
