About The Position

SRS Distribution, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, operates under a family of distinct local brands with over 760 locations across 47 states. The Midwest MIT positions are available at our branch locations in states including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, and South Dakota. This internship offers immersive, hands-on training in distribution operations, sales, and leadership, allowing interns to take on high-impact projects and present insights to senior leadership teams. The program aims to build lasting relationships and kickstart management careers in supply chain and distribution.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business Management, or Construction Management is preferred.
• Current Juniors with plans to graduate between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Proven leadership, teamwork, and work ethic through previous jobs or extracurricular activities.
• Personable, driven, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Gain immersive, hands-on training in distribution operations, sales, and leadership.
• Take on a high-impact project and present insights to senior leadership teams.
• Build lasting relationships and kickstart management career in supply chain and distribution.
• Receive and move products in the warehouse.
• Load trucks and handle dispatch & delivery logistics.
• Engage in customer service, order entry, and inside sales.
• Shadow a Territory Manager for outside sales experience.
• Complete and present a high-impact business project at corporate headquarters.
• Participate in biweekly coaching sessions to accelerate learning.
