We value the rich diversity that comes from blending local perspective with our global network. In this role, you will become an integral member of the San Francisco Healthcare Banking Group. Healthcare bankers in the San Francisco office work on a variety of strategic transactions for industry-leading and emerging players across the entire biopharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and life science tools sectors. The San Francisco healthcare team is a pillar of our Global Healthcare Group together with New York and London, and collaborates with colleagues around the world on international transactions. Day-to-day activities of Summer Associates are dependent on your prior experience and abilities, and include: financial analysis and modeling, the creation and preparation of client presentations, and interaction with clients, among other things.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of prior work experience, ideally in a relevant role
- Currently matriculated at a MBA or JD and within two years of graduation
- Top academic performance
- Motivation, creativity, maturity, and poise
- Strong quantitative background
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- This opportunity is located in San Francisco and an interest in working in San Francisco is necessary.
