About The Position

Transcard offers an internship program in the FinTech industry. Our program is designed to provide you with meaningful projects utilized by the business. You’ll see the direct impact of your contribution and get an inside perspective of your desired field while working alongside some of the best in our industry. We continually strive to identify qualified individuals for post-graduate opportunities beyond the internship program. This intern position will operate Monday-Friday during standard business hours. This position is a paid internship, compensation will be based on the qualifications of the applicant. Our goal is to allow you to gain a better understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities within the Operations department while working toward your professional goals as related to your academic coursework.

Requirements

• Technical proficiency and basic understanding of computer hardware components.
• Ability to work remotely and independently from direct supervisor as needed.
• Must have great time management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Completed or currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Preferred Computer Science, Networking, Software Development.
• CompTIA Certification, A+ Certification, Network+ Certification, Security+ Certification, etc.

Responsibilities

• Start with a one-on-one meeting with the Chief Technology Officer or their designated personnel to discuss the professional goal of the student's academic coursework.
• Supervised by the IT Infrastructure Lead to provide routine feedback and status updates.
• Participate in an exit interview with the IT Infrastructure Lead and the Director of Human Resources for continual improvement of the program.
• Gain exposure to Windows Server, Windows 2019, 2016, 2012, 2010, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Office 365, Microsoft Exchange 2013 and later versions, phone system hardware, software, and architecture, Voice over IP technology.
