2026 Investment Research Associate

GMOBoston, MA
100d$100,000 - $125,000

About The Position

The Investment Research Associate Program is a three-year rotational opportunity designed for highly motivated and intellectually curious individuals. Associates will rotate across multiple investment teams at GMO, gaining exposure to both quantitative and fundamental investment approaches across a range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and asset allocation. The program is structured to develop future investors by providing hands-on experience and continuous training. Associates work closely with experienced researchers, portfolio managers, and traders, contributing meaningfully to investment research and decision-making. Each rotation typically lasts six to eight months, though timing and assignments may vary based on team needs, individual skills, and interests. Ongoing research and investment training, along with firmwide initiatives, support integration into GMO’s culture and investment philosophy. The goal is to place associates into full-time roles on investment teams upon completion of the program. In some cases, permanent placement may occur before the three-year period concludes.
