About The Position

Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing furniture company with an expanding portfolio of brands including Max & Lily, Plank + Beam, and Maxtrix. Since launching over two decades ago, we’ve built multiple sales channels across DTC websites and third-party marketplaces. We’re passionate about designing inspiring, on-trend furniture that brings customers’ home décor dreams to life. We are seeking motivated, curious, and driven interns to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program across multiple departments. This program is designed to give students real exposure to a growing, multi-brand e-commerce business — with meaningful projects, hands-on learning, and direct collaboration with experienced professionals. Position Overview This is not a coffee-run internship. Most internships show you one corner of a company. Ours shows you how the whole business connects. As a Maxwood intern, you’ll work inside a department while gaining visibility into how marketing, merchandising, operations, finance, and product teams collaborate to drive growth. You’ll contribute to real work — not simulations — and gain practical experience in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment where accountability and ownership matter. Internship opportunities may be available within: Brand & Marketing Merchandising & Site Experience Creative & Content Marketplace & Channel Management Operations & Supply Chain Finance & Accounting Product Development Analytics & Business Intelligence Customer Experience Placement will align with your interests, background, and business needs. You’ll leave the summer with practical experience, stronger business acumen, and measurable contributions to your team.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate students graduating between 2026–2027
  • Interest in consumer brands, e-commerce, business operations, or related fields
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Initiative and willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
  • You don’t need years of experience — you need curiosity, accountability, and the drive to contribute.

Responsibilities

  • Support active team initiatives and ongoing projects
  • Conduct research, reporting, or analysis
  • Assist with product launches, campaigns, or operational workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand how departments work together
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and present ideas
  • Contribute to meaningful team objectives
