Requirements

• Technical education (Degree in Engineering or comparable) required.
• Strong interest in Vision Systems, Cobots, Programmable logic controllers, Big Data, VR, AR, MR.
• Preference for candidates who possess comprehensive knowledge about robotics, automation and/or Mechatronics.
• Knowledge of manufacturing techniques and business systems, e.g.: 5S, standardized work, Kanban, visual management.

Responsibilities

• Support the regional NA Automation Team in their various tasks regarding automation.
• Support commissioning or troubleshooting activities of equipment.
• Inspect issues in production and work out solutions based on programmable logic controller.
• Be part of a team developing and implementing cobot applications to replace manual, unergonomic repetitive work.
• Use data acquisition to provide insights on production lines and equipment using an IOT platform and analytic tools.
