About The Position

As an intern with Lycoming Engines, a Textron Systems affiliate, you'll become part of a team that is ALL IN, providing enduring solutions for a complex world. During the intern period of 06/01/2026-08/07/2026 you will connect with people across multiple disciplines and locations, giving you exposure to new projects and mentorship. You will participate in mandatory procurement meetings, gain exposure to our Inventory Management Process, Quality Improvement Processes, and Value Stream Improvement Process, understand the purchasing function, manage PO dates, provide documentation of indirect spend purchases and competing expense reports, work on the RRQ project for a Contract Management Tool, and partner with the supplier quality engineering intern on a supplier rationalization project. Additionally, you will gain exposure to executive management.

Requirements

• Student should be engaged in the pursuit of a B.S. or M.S. in materials, integrated supply chain or related degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities
