Operations Engineering interns can expect to learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They develop manufacturing skills, an understanding of manufacturing engineering or production test engineering, and Raytheon systems and tools. Ops Engineers build technical depth in manufacturing or testing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization.

Requirements

• Must be at least a sophomore by the start of summer 2026 pursuing a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, Computer or closely related Engineering major.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

• 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplined team to improve cycle time and lead time
• Implement process controls and performance monitoring
• Create and oversee improvement projects
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings
