About The Position

As part of John Deere's Environmental team for JD Horicon Works located in Horicon, Wisconsin, our Environmental Interns will assist with the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Programs that impact a manufacturing facility and support the environmental compliance aspects of the factory. Some examples of activities that can be performed include executing facility inspections to review compliance with environmental regulations and EMS requirements, taking ownership of environmental programs such as stormwater, chemical management, wastewater, and waste, exploring and implementing waste, energy or water reduction projects, exploring and implementing environmental risk reduction projects, and developing Power BI Dashboard or Power Apps.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of engineering statistics
• Introductory knowledge of environmental regulations
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or related major
• Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale
• Must be able to relocate domestically

Responsibilities
