About The Position

Interns will be exposed to the d aily functions of the Electric Operations and/or Electric Planning & Scheduling groups . Interns will be exposed to how to track work assignments for the Electric Operations Construction and Maintenance departments using the P6 scheduling tool . Intern s will also collect/store daily/weekly/monthly reports related to reliability, safety, budget and customer satisfaction . There are daily calls with the team to review the day’s work, check progress, problem solve, and collaborate . Intern experience is focused on learning the planning, scheduling and work execution process . Interns will also be able to participate in many learning and networking activities throughout the summer to enrich the experience , including our Catalyst Conversations speaker series, a LinkedIn training workshop, an Intern Conversion Panel session, and an Intern Volunteer Day. Please note that there are multiple openings offered in a multitude of different Eversource offices. Emergency Response: Responding to emergency situations to meet customers’ needs is part of every employee’s role. If employed, you will be given an Emergency Restoration assignment. This means you may be called to assist during an emergency outside of your normal responsibilities, work hours and location.
