The Raytheon Electronic Warfare - Electrical Engineering is on the hunt for a talented Electrical Engineering Intern to join the charge in designing cutting-edge power conversion circuits and digital electronics for Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) systems. Requirements

  • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor's (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Sophomore year by the start of Summer 2026
  • Must be pursuing as bachelor’s or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Completed coursework in electronic circuit theory and design
  • Lab experience using the following: bench power supplies, signal/waveform generators, oscilloscopes
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.​ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronics.
  • Electrical design and analysis with Mentor Graphics XPedition and HyperLynx/ Hyperlynx PI, SiMetrix, LTSPICE
  • Experience working with FPGA-based and microcontroller-based systems
  • Experience with design of CCAs with power conversion integrated circuits including high voltage/high current transformers, inductors, and FETs, as well as ADCs, DACs, and supporting analog circuits.
  • Experience with RF components or specifications and creating POL supplies for RF circuitry.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis, simulation, validation, test, and troubleshooting of digital, analog, RF, and power conversion circuits for Electronic Warfare & Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) products & subsystems.
