About The Position

You will be working inside Studio PKG, the creative packaging studio for Altium. The design function at Studio PKG is constantly evolving, and we are looking for a dynamic Design Intern to support key business initiatives, and growth. We are also looking for the intern to step in and make an impact from day one. The intern experience will be designed to provide opportunities to work directly with Studio PKG and other engineering teams on challenging and exciting projects. Potential projects include: Work side by side with designers on a customer design project, organizing and leading a design thinking project for an innovation initiative, assisting the design team with process improvement and re-branding initiatives, and organizing and migrating technical design data to our Product Data Management Tool.

Requirements

• Candidates should be enrolled in at least 3rd year of an Industrial Design or Design Thinking program
• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks, including modeling in 3D modeling and 2D print templates
• Ability to use rendering tools such as KeyShot, Vizcom, Midjourney, and SolidWorks Visualize
• Ability to multi-task and have strong organizational skills
• Experience with a Product Data Management tool (PDM)
• Experience with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• A GPA minimum of 3.0 is required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
• Sound leadership, analytical, and communication skills
