This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Armament Systems team within our Weapon Systems Division.

Requirements

Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing a graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026.
Be majoring in Aerospace Engineering
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Nice To Haves

Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Experience or coursework in Modeling & Simulation (either sub-systems or system-of-systems)
Experience or coursework in Matlab and/or Simulink
Basic understanding of guidance and control design
Experience or coursework in Kalman filter design, optimal estimation techniques, algorithm and software development, and/or system or sub-system testing and verification
