About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Global Support Functions Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. As our Company continues to increase its global footprint and accessibility to customers and patients, the Global Security Group (GSG) continues to take prudent measures to protect and secure our company and our people, products, trade secrets, intellectual property, reputation, and operations on a global scale. In doing so, GSG protects The Company from a variety of hazards with the goal of providing a competitive advantage by minimizing the impact of security risks and maximizing the opportunity for the Company to do business in a safe and effective manner. As an intern within Our Company Global Security Group’s Physical Security Center of Excellence and North America Investigations team, you will play a vital role in helping manage and implement the strategic plan. This includes continuous improvement with The Company’s physical protection program with its sites and employees globally. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop strategies, implement security controls, and detect and respond to potential risks. This internship will also provide you with valuable experience with investigations within the North America footprint.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled from an accredited College or University majoring in: Computer Science, Physical Security, Business, Behavioral Science, Criminology/Law Enforcement, Psychology, Sociology, or other relevant coursework.
  • Students who have completed at least two years of university studies, toward their degree.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • People skills that include flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring threats and risk to physical assets across the enterprise.
  • Monitor ongoing and emerging issues and threats pertaining to investigations in the North America region.
  • Assist in creating awareness and education programs for various domestic and international audiences concerning Physical Security matters.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify vulnerabilities and potential areas of risk.
  • Create current-state/future state strategies and ongoing enhancements for Physical Security operations.
  • Support additional projects and initiatives as needed.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
  • Hybrid work model with three days on-site and two days remote.
