The GSMG Central Function team at our company is responsible for managing the process of Global Supplier Managements Group’s core function of creating and maintaining relationships with our service and material suppliers. These suppliers are key to our company’s ability to manufacture critical medicines used by millions of patients around the world. A Co-op in the Global Supplier Management Group Central Functions will allow you to: Gain exposure to all global procurement functions and departments Advance an understanding of group dynamics within working communities Foster collaboration and innovation Strengthen communication and interpersonal skills Central Functions U.S. Hub: As a co-op you will support the daily operation of the Central Functions US Hub team. You will help support the team with in executing sourcing initiatives and collaborating with the category team to facilitate operational and transactional activities. This includes actively participating in the creation and management of RFx processes, engaging with suppliers, evaluating RFx responses, and handling other sourcing-related tasks within the SAP Ariba platform. Example responsibilities include: Collaborates with peers from other S&C Hubs to ensure knowledge sharing, such that all teams are able to operate effectively and independently on a day-to-day basis. Support peers to resolve issues and effectively handles requests to ensure business stakeholder and category team satisfaction. Demonstrates both tactical as strategic thinking and creative problem solving in response to position Procurement organization as a tool for supporting the business. Support the execution of the projects (RFx) with value up to $5 million. Support the team with the end-to-end compliance contract management process with 3rd parties, including drafting, negotiations, contract compliance and execution. Support the team with completing internal and external 3rd party risk assessments, prior to contracting and to maintain accurate records of risk assessment findings and risk mitigation strategies proposed.

  • Pursuing B.S. degree (Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical, Biochemistry)
  • Ability to work in New Jersey/Pennsylvania area during summer
