About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Global Pharmacovigilance Case Management (GPVCM) is a global operation, with sites in Colombia, China, Poland and Costa Rica, that handles adverse experience case management for drugs/vaccines/biologics/devices (marketed or under investigation) in accordance with pharmacovigilance (PV) legislations globally. This large-scale operation's primary daily focus is to ensure completion of adverse experience reports with high quality while meeting the timelines of our key stakeholders and global Health Authorities. The intern position within GPVCM would be involved with supporting activities tied to adverse experience case management while also getting the unique opportunity to understand the advantages and complexities of a global business model. The intern position would have the opportunity to work with the management team of GPVCM to gain insight into the strategic elements of the operations. Daily activities may involve, but are not limited to, coordination and analysis of data in PV systems, enhancement of supporting technical systems, process improvement activities, training initiatives, and completion/updating of department documentation. The position may also work directly with staff in PV Operations & Global Process Enablement, which is a key internal partner and stakeholder.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree Program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025.
  • Strong data analysis and technical skills.
  • Document management skills.
  • Initiative, leadership, and ownership of deliverables.
  • Self-starter, fast learner, able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to manage and independently drive projects to completion.
