About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals. Global Labeling (GL) is seeking an intern interested in learning about the development of labeling documents for medicine and vaccine products. This position is a 10-12 week summer internship opportunity.

Requirements

  • Currently finishing junior year in college or graduate school
  • Currently enrolled in a BS, MS or professional program, including: biology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacology, nursing, pharmacy, or other science/health care-related field of study
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with databases
  • Experience writing, editing, and reviewing scientific content
  • GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drafting of labeling for new products or revising/updating labeling for currently marketed products worldwide
  • Presentation of proposed labeling revisions to labeling committees
  • Collection and review of efficacy and/or safety information for marketed products
  • Process improvement projects and other department specific products
