About The Position

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Animal Health division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term career goals. The Companion Animal Summer Intern will be a field-based position. Location assignment is to be determined. The intern will serve as an ambassador for some of our leading parasiticide products and new technologies in the companion animal market. This position will be a field-based sales role working closely with our sales and sales management teams. The intern will provide added value to our Company's customers in companion animal veterinary clinics. The intern will interact with customers to gain firsthand sales experience. The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the region and territory via coordination and execution of sales support activities including: face to Face calls, literature orders, and other administrative tasks to drive sales in the region. As a sales intern in our Animal Health Division, you will be required to rent a car. Candidates must be 20 years of age or older at the start of the internship to meet the necessary criteria to obtain a rental car agreement through our rental car provider.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be enrolled in any bachelor’s degree program.
  • Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of college course work by May 2026.
  • Candidate must be available May 18th – August 7th, 2026.
  • Candidate must be able to travel up to 50% and reside in the agreed upon city during summer 2026.
  • Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
  • Candidates must have computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad.
  • Candidates must be organized, manage their time well, be able to adapt to a changing environment, and work independently.

  • Support the sales strategy across the region and territory.
  • Coordinate and execute sales support activities including face-to-face calls.
  • Manage literature orders and other administrative tasks to drive sales.
  • Interact with customers in companion animal veterinary clinics.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
